Comprehensive Energy Audits

Celtic Energy just recently completely comprehensive energy audits for several customers including CBRE, on behalf of Travelers Insurance for their 300 Windsor St. location; Middlesex Community College campuses in Bedford and Lowell, MA; Northern Essex Community College campuses in Haverhill and Lawrence, MA; The audits identified a total of $875,000 in energy savings for the owners.

Emerging Technology Assessments

Celtic Energy just completed two Emerging Technology Assessments for San Diego Gas & Electric, a major utility in California. An assessment for the City of San Marcos evaluated the technical, functional, aesthetic, and operational benefits and concerns of leading edge LED (light-emitting diode) and Induction lighting technologies. A separate assessment also the evaluated the various benefits and concerns of a distributed thermal energy storage system, which could potentially have a significant impact on reducing the costly electric demand peaks on hot summer days across the country.
