New Office Opens
Celtic Energy's recently opened an office in Las Vegas, Nevada to attend to several project opportunities. We have teamed with highly experienced local firms LINK Technologies, Inc. www.linktechconsulting.com, an IT and Project Management specialty firm, and International Consulting and Contracting, Inc. www.donwoods.com. a Procurement and Contract Negotiation expert to help us maintain a strong presence in Nevada. We have been working together to implement work under recently awarded contracts from several clients, including:
State of Nevada Department of Human Services -
West Charleston Campus, Las Vegas, NV
Our services are targeted at providing technical oversight and quality control over the selected ESCo’s development and implementation of the cost savings projects. The main objective of Celtic Energy's participation in this project will be to utilize our 20-plus years of experience in the energy industry and performance contracting to provide objective counsel on the many issues facing the WCC Campus during the development and implementation of an energy and water conservation performance contract. Our goal is to protect their interests while facilitating the execution of a successful cost savings contract and the resulting project.
Clark County School District:
The fifth largest, and fastest growing school district in the nation opens a new school every three weeks to keep up with the burgeoning population growth. The CCSD Facilities Division is one of the most sophisticated and progressive in the nation. They have hired Celtic Energy for several projects including;
- Peer review of LEED Gold school and facilities building designs, in which we evaluate the A/E team's energy modeling, and sustainable design methodology on behalf of the District;
- Review of the District's HVAC Study Guidelines to help them ensure their Engineering Consultants are preparing consistent, thorough, and valuable design studies which include the proper energy efficiency techniques in the design and budgets;
- Performance Contracting Third Party Consulting - Our services will be the same as those for the State DHR West Charleston campus.
City of Henderson, NV
Celtic Energy has been hired as the Third Party Consultant for the city's Performance Contracting project at it's Justice facility. We will be providing the same consulting services as we are for CCSD and the DHR.
We are currently discussing additional opportunities with these and other prospective customers in Nevada. The contract we hold with the State of Nevada Department of Administration is transferable to other States through Joinder Contracts.
